Your joyful art experience begins here!
Welcome to a world of beauty, color, experience and boundless joy. My art is beyond a pretty picture - it is an invitation to explore. Each brushstroke is a journey, each medium is another layer to captivate, and each finished painting is your escape. Whether you want to feel the wild energy of untamed nature, the warmth of a light-dappled forest, the breeze from dancing wings, or the culture of a distant land, you can find it on your wall.
Art has the power to transform spaces, and the way we feel and see the world. It reminds us to wonder at the unexpected, to revel in vibrant colors, to engage with tactile texture, and to embrace the richness of the world and imagination. I invite you to reveal your soul through my art you collect and let your personal spaces tell the story of your journeys - past and imagined - the passion you have for life, and the endless pursuit of inspiration.
Artist Biography
Heather Owen has been a professional artist for almost 10 years. In 2026, she completed the Mastery Program with the Milan Art Institute, headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. Heather’s art is Mixed Media Abstract Realism, and while Heather can paint any subject she puts her mind to, including land and waterscapes, underwater, space, people, and plant life, birds, big cats, and other wildlife are the common subjects of her paintings. She enjoys that moment when the animal emerges from the canvas and takes on it’s individual personality. While she loves all artistic media and tools, spray paint makes a showing in all of her pieces. She finds that it and complimentary stenciling adds surprise moments and a unique airy quality to her pieces.
Heather has been exhibiting and selling her work for 8 years in the Gallery at York Hall in Yorktown, Virginia, where she has also served as the featured artist on several occasions. In October, 2025. Heather was also selected as the Featured Artist of the Month at Jerry’s Artarama, in Jacksonville Florida. Heather also enjoyed creating commissions for several businesses including popular YouTuber, EazySpeazy.
Although Heather has worked as a full-time litigation attorney and in-house counsel painting nights, weekends and on vacation, she has sold more than 50 paintings. Starting in 2026, Heather plans to begin showing and selling her work at fine art events and actively pursuing galleries.
In addition to her family, art is Heather’s true passion in life!
